Sneaky Sneaky, they keep renaming Aspartame

Aspartame. NutraSweet®. Canderel®. Pal Sweet Diet®. AminoSweet®. These are all names for aspartame.

In short, aspartame is being renamed and copied to look like the successful American campaign from 1982 that said aspartame is natural because it is made from basic amino acids. Ajinomoto Company, which makes aspartame, changed the name of the chemical to AminoSweet in 2009 to try to boost sales, which were going down. Same song, second verse. Are YOU fooled?

A lot of people think that artificial sweeteners are healthier than honey or all natural sugars, but years of evidence show that this is not true. Artificial sweeteners are made to make foods taste sweeter while having fewer calories. However, this is very bad for people’s health in the long run.

Raw, natural sugars like honey are far better for the body than artificial sweeteners.

From our own experience, we know that anything made in a lab will probably be hard for the body to break down and get rid of. Because the toxins in the sweeteners or their metabolic by-products are hard to get rid of, this can lead to serious health problems and weight gain. This is especially true for foods that say they are “diet” or “sugar-free.”
