CANADA: Top covid managers, including Dr. Theresa Tam from the Public Health Agency, the Departments of Foreign Affairs, Health, Industry, and National Defense, swore they would not talk about the COVID problem.
There was a secret oath that dozens of Canada’s top health managers and the country’s top doctor had to take that said they would not talk about the COVID problem or “embarrass” the federal government at the time.
In total, 29 managers signed the oath with the Public Health Agency and Departments of Foreign Affairs, Health, Industry and National Defence.
The oath came right after the federal government, under former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, signed a deal to buy mRNA COVID jabs with pharmaceutical companies. The Department of Health entered into $8 billion in vaccine agreements with seven companies: AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Medicago, Moderna, Novavax, Pfizer, and Sanofi. Despite repeated requests from Commons committees, the contract terms remained undisclosed.
